What size should a YouTube thumbnail be?▼

YouTube recommends 1280×720 pixels with a 16:9 aspect ratio. This is the default size in our tool. Minimum width is 640px and the image should be under 2MB.

Can I upload my own background image?▼

Yes! Switch to "Image" background mode and upload any photo. It will be scaled to fit your thumbnail size. You can also add overlay effects on top.

How do I add multiple text layers?▼
